LEAD PASTOR

Rev. Morris (Lixin) Mao

Originally from Zhejiang, China, Pastor Lixin (Morris) Mao received his higher education in Beijing and became a college instructor and tour guide in Hangzhou after graduation. In 2001, he was born again and got baptized there. In 2004, he and his family immigrated to Canada and settled down in Belleville, Ontario. In 2012, he was called by God and started his seminary training at CCIC School of Theology. In 2016, he obtained the degree of MDiv and served as volunteer preacher in the Chinese ministry of Quinte Alliance Church in Belleville. From August 2019 to April 2024, he was pastor of the Chinese congregation of Chinese Evangelical Alliance Church of Toronto. At the end of June of 2024, he moved to Edmonton together with his wife Peijuan and his younger son Justin, and from July 1, 2024, he began to serve as lead pastor of Edmonton Living Fountain Alliance Church.
